If
you and your mate have ever dreamed of flying to Paris on a whim,
now you can. Jon Larsen’s
Hot Club de Norvège, a cornerstone in the international
gypsy jazz community and promoters of Scandinavia’s longest
running Django Reinhardt Festival (25 years and counting), will
transport the two of you from your respective daily routines to
the ‘romance capital’ of the world. Featured guest
artists including former child prodigy Jimmy
Rosenberg (at age 17) and the late gypsy guitar legend’s
son, Babik Reinhardt, lend an air of sophistication with the help
of European guitar masters Angelo Debarre and Romane. Sonnekai,
an up-and-coming youthful trio comprised of proven pedigree (14-year-old
Faifie Reinhardt, 15-year-old Watti Rosenberg, and 20-year-old
Sammy Weiss), further contribute to the romantic ambience as they
follow in the footsteps of their famous relatives. Discover why
these musicians are the toast of Europe as you and your mate celebrate
your love Parisian-style.
